2. Mandy Rose And Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics vs. Naomi And Carmella

It was a long time coming, but the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will be crowned at Elimination Chamber in less than two weeks.  Three teams from Raw and three teams from SmackDown will battle it out to make history inside the Elimination Chamber.

Nia Jax and Tamina, Sasha Banks and Bayley, and The Riott Squad are the three teams from the red brand to be included in this match, and the three teams from the blue brand competed last night in a Triple Threat Match when it was Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics vs. Naomi and Carmella.  This was a positive step in the right direction for the future of the women’s tag team title scene.

The team of Naomi and Carmella felt a bit random, but it looked pretty good last night against two other established teams.  It felt like this match could go any of the three possible ways, but the issues between Rose and Naomi would end up being the difference in the match when Rose took out Naomi to get the win for her team in the most satisfying way possible for God’s Greatest Creation.

This was a good match, even if it wasn’t the longest, and it helped build further excitement for the upcoming match inside the Elimination Chamber.  It feels like this match is wide open for anyone to take and win, but Rose and Deville got off to a great start last night and they have to be thought of as real possibilities to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

It won’t be long now until we find out which team makes history, but last night gave fans a glimpse of what could happen at Elimination Chamber.
