Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Akira Toazawa [Cruiserweight Title]⚛️

The Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy has had stellar matches at every PPV since dethroning Cedric Alexander at WWE Super ShowDown in Australia. Afterwards, he retained his championship on PPV at three separate occasions: (1) at Survivor Series against Mustafa Ali, (2) at TLC against Cedric Alexander, and (3) at Royal Rumble in a fatal-4-way match against Kalisto, Hideo Itami, and Akira Tozawa. Now, he is faced with yet another opponent at this upcoming PPV: former Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa.

Indeed, Tozawa dethroned Neville in August 2017 to win his first cruiserweight title but sadly only had a 6-day title reign after losing it back to Neville at that year’s SummerSlam PPV. Thus, he must have a very strong desire to reclaim his throne for a preferably more prolonged time. Nonetheless, he has finally earned a one-on-one title match with Buddy Murphy after winning a fatal-4-way elimination match against Lio Rush, Humberto Carrillo, and Cedric Alexander on 205 Live.

However, as Buddy Murphy clearly said, he won’t be looking past Tozawa, but he’ll be definitely be looking through him. Murphy has been an extremely momentous champion as of late, and his outstanding match performances would be missed if he were to be dethroned. No one is stopping Buddy Murphy on his road to WrestleMania, and it’s safe to say that he is indeed retaining his coveted CruiserWeight Championship as well as possibly cementing his legacy as one of the greatest cruiserweights of all time.

Prediction: Buddy Murphy⚛️
