1. John Cena

If WWE were looking for a huge name to give Daniel Bryan a WrestleMania-worthy WWE Championship match, you can’t get much huger than John Cena. Not only because the man has served as a flag bearer for the company for over a decade now, but a Cena/Bryan WWE Championship match has a ready-made program for it.

The last time Bryan and Cena squared off one-on-one with each other, it was for the WWE Championship and the former Yes Man came out on top at SummerSlam. Cena and Bryan never wrestled for a rematch. If SummerSlam can be argued as WWE’s second biggest pay-per-view stage, it’s about time that the rematch happens on WWE’s biggest stage possible.

The only problem here would be setting up the feud on the road for WrestleMania. This is because current reports suggest that The Leader of the CENAtion will not be on WWE television until this year’s WrestleMania given that he is currently shooting a movie that won’t wrap up until a week before the big show.

However, since the storyline sells itself, WWE could easily simply announce the match and let Bryan cut promos by himself in the weeks leading up to The Showcase of the Immortals. Would’ve be the first time WWE did such a thing, especially for programs involving part-timers like The Rock or Brock Lesnar. It’ll all be worth it when John Cena and Daniel Bryan put on a main event worthy contest on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
