Andrade

Andrade “Cien” Almas is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and for the wrestling fans who didn’t watch his amazing title matches with Drew McIntyre, Johnny Gargano, and Aleister Black in NXT, they got the perfect introduction to El Idolo during his SmackDown Live feud with Rey Mysterio.

Almas and Mysterio put on two of the best television matches in recent memory, and Andrade’s performances solidified his status as one to watch in 2019. His business associate, Zelina Vega, has constantly stated that this is Andrade’s year to dominate, and it’s almost impossible to doubt Vega when she speaks so confidently.

Though Andrade is a heel, there are rumors that WWE could be interested in turning La Sombra babyface, making him an even bigger star on The Blue Brand. Andrade looks like a future WWE Champion, with many fans already predicting a potential Money in the Bank briefcase run for the former NXT Champion.

By replacing a beloved babyface in Ali at the Elimination Chamber PPV, WWE could gauge Andrade’s crowd reactions in a match with five other big stars. Andrade has already proven his value in NXT and on the main roster several times, but this could be a huge moment for one of the world’s most technically proficient wrestlers to shine.

It seems like Andrade could beat R-Truth for the United States Championship first and feud with Rey for the title at WrestleMania 35, but with Ali hurt, now is definitely not the time to count Andrade out of the world title picture.
