3. Naomi And Carmella vs. Mandy Rose And Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics

Monday night saw a high stakes women’s tag team match in anticipation of the Women’s Tag Team Championship match inside the Elimination Chamber on Sunday.  That trend continued last night when the blue brand’s three teams battled it out for pretty high stakes.

Naomi and Carmella, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, and The IIconics competed in a match that would determine which team entered the Elimination Chamber match first alongside The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection.  Whichever team got pinned in this match would be the team to start the chamber match on Sunday, putting that team at a major disadvantage having to outlast everybody.

These teams put on a solid match, even if it wasn’t allowed a whole lot of time thanks to the huge gauntlet match that closed out the show.  The dynamic between Naomi and Rose played out well with Naomi wanting to get her hands on Rose after weeks of issues.  Another dynamic involved was how Billie Kay and Peyton Royce just didn’t get involved in the match after a while, sitting back and watching everyone else do the work like good heels tend to do.

However, the duo known as Fabulous Glow would make Rose and Deville pay when Naomi pinned Rose to get the win and, in turn, put Rose and Deville behind the 8-ball at Elimination Chamber.  The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection and Rose and Deville will be the two teams starting out the chamber match and if they hope to become the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, they must last longer than any other team.

In terms of just this tag team match, however, it was pretty solid from start to finish and it was a nice way to head into Sunday.
