The next Major League Wrestling event is just a few weeks away and the match announcements are beginning to steadily trickle in.

MLW returns to Cicero Stadium on March 2 for Intimidation Games and with it another beIN Sports Fusion LIVE special. The hour-long special will feature at least one of the announced matches but so much more will go down when the promotion tapes another set of weekly episodes for its regular Fusion broadcast.

Announced earlier this week, Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix will take on the debuting tandem of Laredo Kid and Taurus from AAA. Pentagon and Fenix essentially owned the MLW tag team division until falling victim to an unmasking and Doomsday Destroyer from The Hart Foundation at SuperFight in Philadelphia. Now the duo has a chance to get back on the winning track in what is sure to be another show stealer for The Lucha Bros.

Just announced for Chicago will be newcomer Mance Warner battling Promociones Dorado’s LA Park in a Death Match. MLW is no stranger to hardcore bouts and LA Park is even more familiar. There won’t be an easy path to victory for Park, however, as Ol Mancer will bring his own brand of ultraviolence to Chicago.

Park has bested some of the best the MLW roster has to offer, but Warner comes with experience of his own. Can the current CZW Heavyweight Champion and the survivor of this year’s Cage Of Death make his mark in Major League Wrestling by shocking the world with a win over the legendary Chairman of MLW?

In a match that is set to air as part of the Intimidation Games live special, World Heavyweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor will square off with former champion Low Ki in a steel cage match. After defeating Ki in quick fashion at SuperFight, can Lawlor roll his momentum into Chicago and do it again?

Many were surprised at the lightning-fast victory in Philadelphia which saw Ki pass out to Lawlor in under 5 minutes. Inside of a steel cage where Salina de la Renta and the rest of Promociones Dorado won’t be a factor, can Lawlor put Ki away even quicker? Or, will the former champion put the past firmly behind him by becoming the first ever two-time MLW World Heavyweight Champion?

More matches are sure to be announced in the weeks ahead, but the three blockbuster bouts already on the table are enough to pique the interest of casual observers and longtime viewers alike. A portion of MLW Intimidation Games will air live on beIN Sports on Saturday, March 2 with the rest to follow in Fusion’s new Saturday night slot.
