4. Aleister Black vs. Andrade

The four NXT superstars that made their main roster debut on Raw Monday night all left a big impact that is still being felt.  So much so that they were invited to come back and compete on SmackDown last night to show what they had against some of the blue brand’s best.

Aleister Black got an impressive win on Monday night against Elias, but he would get a more familiar challenge last night when he took on former NXT rival Andrade.  This was an enticing matchup to see on the main roster and despite it not going the distance, so to speak, it was still very impressive in-ring work from both individuals.

Both men pulled out all the stops and showed what they can do, but Andrade looked like he had things in control more so than Elias did against Black the previous night.  He managed to keep Black in check for a while, but it wouldn’t last and the tempo really picked up throughout much of this match.  That greatly favored Black in the grand scheme of things when his proficient striking ability paid big dividends.

In the end, Black made it two-for-two on the main roster when he knocked off Andrade in a very solid matchup.  No matter what show he ends up on, Black will be a welcomed and unique addition to either Raw or SmackDown.  Both rosters are filled with many superstars that would present Black with great potential storylines and feuds.

No matter where he ends up, Black has already made a big main roster impact with two wins over established superstars.

Final Grade: B+
