3. Tommaso Ciampa And Johnny Gargano vs. The Bar

The tag team of DIY ran roughshod over NXT for a long time, accumulating a lot of success in the process.  Even though Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano eventually went their separate ways, they have reunited over the past couple of days when they made their main roster debuts on Raw and SmackDown.

Ciampa and Gargano defeated the Raw Tag Team Champions in The Revival on Monday night, but that didn’t matter to Sheamus and Cesaro last night.  During a backstage interview, The Bar interrupted Ciampa and Gargano and showed them absolutely no respect in the process.  DIY was not taken seriously by The Bar, but that would fuel the duo’s fire when it took on Sheamus and Cesaro in a match.

Even during the beginning of the match, The Bar laughed at the thought of having to face these NXT superstars.  However, that demeanor wouldn’t last and it quickly became evident that The Bar was in for a fight.  Things went back and forth for a while to the point where nobody knew who was going to come out on top.  The action was high-quality throughout this match, but the finishing stages paid dividends for Ciampa and Gargano.

After Ciampa rolled up Cesaro at the end, that was just enough to get the big win for his team and prove to The Bar they are for real.  In a matter of two days, DIY knocked off The Revival and The Bar, two of the most elite tag teams in the WWE.  Even if they don’t end up as a tag team when they permanently join the main roster, Ciampa and Gargano are bound for big things in the future it appears.

Respect was earned last night when DIY knocked off The Bar in a very good match that could lead to something bigger in the future.
