1. Kofi Kingston, Jeff Hardy, And AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, And Randy Orton

The men’s Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship was a very good match that saw Daniel Bryan escape with his title by the skin of his teeth.  However, there wouldn’t be time to relax for The New Daniel Bryan because he was immediately put in the main event of last night’s show.

Bryan teamed up with Randy Orton and Samoa Joe to battle Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles, and Jeff Hardy in six-man tag team action in a battle between the six men that competed in the Elimination Chamber match.  After everyone had made their entrance, Bryan said none of them deserved a shot at the WWE Championship at Fastlane.

However, that didn’t stop Kingston, Styles, and Hardy from going after The Planet’s Champion and his two partners.  This was a solid match that gave everyone a chance to shine, but ultimately, the one who shined the brightest was the one who has been shining brighter than anyone over the past week.  Kofi captured the hearts of the WWE universe with his performance in the gauntlet match last week on SmackDown and then in the Elimination Chamber match.

He did more of the same last night when he pinned Bryan to get the win for his team.  This made it a no-brainer for Shane McMahon and he announced that Bryan would be defending the WWE Championship at Fastlane against Kofi.

This is the opportunity Kofi really hasn’t gotten in his career and the WWE universe has been calling for it in recent memory.  Kofi’s chance to reach the mountaintop comes in less than three weeks when he can dethrone the WWE Champion.
