Teddy Hart: The Ramblin’ Man
We were blessed (I guess?) with another H2tv and instead of watching Davey Boy Smith Jr endearingly talk about his love of Asian culture, we got Teddy Hart going on and on about… stuff.
Hart started by randomly claiming that DBS could choke out Brock Lesnar before telling Dana White to bring any guy who wanted a real fight to stand toe to toe with his Hart Foundation partner. He continued on to give credit to CM Punk for taking a chance in MMA despite being unsuccessful.
In one of the more bizarre moments, Hart complained that anyone who wanted to run to All Elite Wrestling should because MLW had a strong roster who wouldn’t be bought. Maybe he missed the recent news about Rush signing an exclusive deal with Ring of Honor and his own current roster-mates MJF and The Lucha Bros inking deals with AEW?
Hart closed out by stating that he was in Major League Wrestling for gold, not money, before talking about the cigar he was smoking in the doorway of some nondescript building.
How was it? I just don’t understand the need for Teddy Hart anywhere in wrestling in 2019. The way he talks himself up reminds me of a teenager who puffs out their chest and tells everybody how tough they are only to meekly back away from any confrontation. He’s simply not believable and unlikable.
As is usually the case when Hart is the center of a segment, this was a chore to get through. At just 2 minutes long, this was more Teddy Hart than I needed this week.
