4. The Hardy Boyz vs. The Bar

Since losing the SmackDown Tag Team Championship to The Miz and Shane McMahon at the Royal Rumble, The Bar has been in a bit of a rut.  Sheamus and Cesaro make up one of the best tag teams the WWE has seen in years, but they haven’t been winning much since that loss.

They lost to Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa last week and hoped they could get back on track last night.  However, that wouldn’t exactly pan out either when the unexpected return of Matt Hardy saw the return of The Hardy Boyz, in their home state of North Carolina no less, who took on The Bar last night in a tag team match that not many saw coming.

It was awesome to see Matt and Jeff back together again competing at a high level.  This match wasn’t necessarily the longest and it could have been given more time, but for the time it was alloted, it did a solid job.  The Hardyz kept The Bar on its heels throughout much of the match, but even with that, Sheamus and Cesaro still looked in control at times.

The finish, however, was vintage Matt and Jeff when Jeff hit a huge swanton bomb to get the win for The Hardyz in their first tag team match in the WWE in around a year or better.  This was a pleasant surprise and if Matt and Jeff are back together as a tag team for the foreseeable future, things could drastically ratchet up on Tuesday nights among the stacked tag team division.

Everyone loves The Hardy Boyz, so seeing them return last night and knock off The Bar in a good match was a breath of fresh air.
