3. The Miz vs. Jey Uso

The bromance between The Miz and Shane McMahon has led to some compelling TV over the past few months.  What started as The Miz trying to gain the affections of Shane O’Mac turned into a SmackDown Tag Team Championship-winning team that came out of nowhere.

However, the co-besties ran into a much more established team in The Usos at Elimination Chamber and for the sixth time in their career, Jimmy and Jey captured tag team championship gold by winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.  The rematch is set to take place at Fastlane this Sunday, but last night saw a member of each team compete against each other in a momentum-building match.

The Miz took on Jey Uso in a match that started out with a bit of a war of words between the teams prior to the match starting.  Once the match started, however, business picked up and both superstars fought their hardest for a win.  It went back and forth throughout and even though the match was relatively short, it still packed a pretty good punch from start to finish.

But in the end, The A-Lister took advantage of a distracted Jey Uso after Jimmy tried to interfere on the outside, only to be taken out by Shane.  Miz would then hit Jey with a skull-crushing finale for the win to give the “best tag team in the world” momentum heading into Fastlane.  If the seemingly inevitable breakup of Miz and Shane will happen before WrestleMania, Fastlane might be the time for it.

Whether or not the breakup is imminent, they have had a stellar run so far and The Miz pulled off a good win last night in his own right.
