WWE Championship Triple Threat Match: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Kofi Kingston

Just after Kofi was introduced, the ring announcer spoke to someone at ringside and stated the WWE Championship match for WWE Fastlane would be taking place later in the night, and instead we’d be seeing a one-on-two handicap match with Kofi Kingston taking on The Bar, and The Bar didn’t even have to make tags in the match. Essentially a mugging began moments later, with Sheamus and Cesaro beating down Kofi Kingston.

Err…Kofi Kingston vs. The Bar in a Handicap Match?

Kingston tried to fight back with a few reversals in the match, but it didn’t take long for The Bar to keep the advantage and continued a vicious beatdown on Kofi Kingston. On top of that, The New Day was barred from ringside by Vince McMahon, meaning they were unable to come save him.

Cesaro and Sheamus even took the beating to the outside, but Kofi Kingston managed to shove Sheamus into a ring post and isolate Cesaro. He came diving off the top, but caught a European uppercut from Cesaro. A Doomsday Device from The Bar and a Brogue Kick later, and Cesaro went for the easy cover. Refusing to let it end, Cesaro pulled Kingston up at the count of one.

As The Bar looked to add insult to injury, Xavier Woods and Big E finally managed to come running down the ramp, only to be ambushed by Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura before they could save Kingston. Back in the ring, The Bar landed a Double White Noise on Kofi Kingston and pinned him for the easy win. The crowd was livid, and The New Day was left lying in ruins around the ring at WWE Fastlane.

Result: The Bar def. Kofi Kingston
