If Bobby Lashley’s recent title win and some intriguing advertising are any indication, then Finn Balor could be primed to have a huge WrestleMania moment this year.

Despite the fact that Finn Balor is consistently one of the most popular superstars in WWE today, a WrestleMania moment has so far eluded him throughout his career.

A combination of injuries and multi-man matches have led to Balor not having his own time to really shine on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’

Luckily, for both Balor and his legions of fans, that could be about to change.

On the March 11th episode of WWE Raw, Bobby Lashley beat Finn Balor for ‘The Demon King’s’ Intercontinental Championship with a little help from Lio Rush. While that might not seem like something to cheer for right now, it does help Balor in the long run.

WrestleMania is typically the end of many superstars’ title runs. Whether you’re face or heel, WWE’s biggest show of the year is usually one of the last places you want to be a reigning champion at.

The logic behind that is pretty sound on WWE’s part too. Nothing is as surefire of a way to get people talking as title changes, meaning you can dole out those WrestleMania moments to numerous superstars throughout the night after they win their respective championship match.

Long story short, that means Finn Balor likely could have been in trouble if he were heading into WrestleMania as Intercontinental Champion.

However, after losing his belt to Lashley on Raw, now Balor can walk in as challenger instead of champion.

If I had to guess, Balor likely will be challenging Lashley at WrestleMania, especially considering the controversial ending their last match had. If recent developments across social media are any indication though, Balor might not be the only person looking to capture the Intercontinental Championship at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’

A triple threat between Lashley, Rush, and Balor would currently be the most obvious way to bring the recent angles involving the 3 superstars to a head at WrestleMania.

With Rush likely not in line for a title run quite yet though, and Lashley entering as the reigning champion, that just might leave the door open for Balor to recapture the Intercontinental Title and finally get the WrestleMania moment he deserves.

The direction of Balor’s most recent feuds aren’t the only indication we have that ‘The Demon King’ may be about to finally get that WrestleMania moment though.

According to Marc Middleton at WrestlingInc, recent advertising for WrestleMania shows Balor decked out in his ‘Demon’ paint and gear.

Balor typically reserves that outfit and gimmick for only his biggest matches and fiercest rivalries. Trading a title back and forth with one of the most impressive athletes in WWE before meeting him and one of WWE’s best  high-flyers at WrestleMania would likely count as an appropriate time for ‘The Demon’ to reappear.

If Balor is able to have a WrestleMania-sized version of his ‘Demon’ entrance, you can almost be certain that would be a WrestleMania moment for Balor in of itself.

On top of that, we all know Balor’s impressive track record when he channels ‘The Demon’, giving Balor an even higher likelihood for another memorable moment resulting from capturing the Intercontinental Championship once again.

While Finn Balor has yet to create a defining moment at ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’, all signs currently point to WrestleMania 35 being Balor’s time to shine.
