3. Trish Stratus vs. Jazz vs. Victoria: WrestleMania 19

The Attitude Era was a huge time for everyone in the WWE and is viewed as the greatest era in pro wrestling history.  The same can be said for women’s wrestling, which arguably hit its highest point in history up to that point during the Attitude Era.

However, the Ruthless Aggression Era was very kind to women’s wrestling as well.  By 2003, there was a crowded Women’s Championship picture in the WWE, led by then-champion Victoria.  She wasn’t the only one involved, however, and she had a huge challenge in store at WrestleMania 19 in which she defended her title against two other top challengers.

Victoria defended the Women’s Championship against Trish Stratus and Jazz in a Triple Threat Match that until recently, could have been argued as the greatest women’s match in WrestleMania history.  It wasn’t the longest match in the world, but for the time these women got, they did absolutely everything they could have done.

Stevie Richards tried to help Victoria out in retaining her title, but he was taken out of the picture just in time for Trish to take out Victoria and get the win.  This marked Trish’s fourth women’s title reign, which tied the all-time WWE record at the time for the most women’s title reigns.

This was a true gem on an already stacked card and a match that should receive more credit than it gets.

WrestleMania 19 was loaded with great matches, but this Women’s Championship match was a real highlight and an all-time great women’s match on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
