1. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch: WrestleMania 32

WWE fans were growing restless with the diva’s era and demanded a change that would ultimately lead to a complete transformation.  That transformation would reach a huge level at WrestleMania 32 when a new era of women’s wrestling in the WWE was officially formed.

At WrestleMania 32 in 2016, the Diva’s Championship was transformed into the Women’s Championship and three of the most talented women’s competitors in the world battled it out to be called the new Women’s Champion.

Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch would compete in a Triple Threat Match to determine the new Women’s Champion on a night in which the Diva’s Championship was retired.

In an otherwise lackluster WrestleMania to most, this match undoubtedly stole the show and proved that bigger and better things were on the horizon for women’s wrestling in the WWE.  These women put on a classic the likes of which WrestleMania had never seen before in terms of women’s wrestling.  But in the end, ‘The Queen’ would reign supreme.

Charlotte made Lynch tap out while her father Ric Flair prevented Banks from getting back in the ring, which propelled Charlotte to the win that crowned her as the new WWE Women’s Champion.

The ending was a bit cheap, but outside of that, this match was a classic and one that will be viewed in a positive light forever.  It was a game-changing match for women’s wrestling.
