Bianca Belair is a tremendous wrestler

There are few wrestlers in the WWE NXT system with as much star potential as Bianca Belair, who checks off all the boxes as a superstar. She plays her character perfectly, she’s a great story-teller in the ring, she’s become a fantastic babyface, she has touches to her character (like the hair whip and “Un De Fea Ted” clap) that make her stand out, and she is an accomplished athlete in so many different ways.

Belair has reached the summit of the NXT Women’s Division, and it’s time for the bEST of NXT to be showcased as a champion on the brand. She showed at TakeOver: Phoenix that she is indeed ready for the big-time, putting on a fabulous match with Shayna Baszler that made Mr. Sam Roberts look like the foolish heel commentator – and not the voice of the fan – that he has become.

Anyone who has doubted Belair has come to regret it, because she dazzles in the ring and shines just as brightly outside of it. Her confrontations with wrestlers like Nikki Cross, Mia Yim, and, most recently, Baszler, have showcased just how great she is at playing off of anyone in a segment, selling a great match down-the-road. Belair has managed to get the NXT Universe behind her in just a matter of months since her subtle babyface turn, which was absolutely organic and stemmed from one undeniable truth: Bianca Belair is simply too excellent to boo.
