3 Ways To Save Brock Lesnar And Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania Feud
By Brett Grega
3. Have The Shield Attack Brock Lesnar
The first option available to WWE would, of course, be the most obvious. That is to have The Shield’s one last match at Fastlane be just the beginning of a larger reunion for ‘The Hounds of Justice.’
At this point, with new merchandise already out and not much of a real reason to break The Shield bros up, it’s probably not too out of the question for The Shield to continue their alliance even if WWE keeps its word on their final match.
It would be a quick and easy way to build some excitement for this WrestleMania match if WWE had the clearly red-hot Shield attack Brock Lesnar and leave him laid out through a demolished announce table on WWE Raw.
Sure, there’s the whole Dean Ambrose potentially leaving WWE situation to keep in mind when considering this whole angle. WWE may not want to have a departing star heavily featured on their biggest show of the year after all.
With Ambrose’s exit becoming a talking point on WWE TV recently, something which has been virtually unheard of in this kind of situation, can we even count on Ambrose’s departure as a sure thing though?
Either way, continuing The Shield’s reunion tour would certainly be an option available for WWE if they were looking for an easy way to kick-start the hype for Rollins versus Lesnar.
