3 Ways To Save Brock Lesnar And Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania Feud
By Brett Grega
1. Add A New ‘Paul Heyman Guy’ To The Mix
Now this right here is a sure-fire way to bump this match’s status up a few dozen notches.
Fans have been clamoring for Paul Heyman to take on a new client for what seems like forever. If WWE actually pulled the trigger on this angle, especially if it was presented as the x-factor that would help Lesnar retain at WrestleMania, then this rivalry would be flipped into overdrive faster than you could imagine.
It just so happens that there might even be a little bit of reason for this to happen baked into the storyline already too.
Recently, Heyman took a bit more of a hands-on approach to representing Brock Lesnar by paying Shelton Benjamin to attack Seth Rollins. It was the most interesting development in this feud so far, and could easily lay the groundwork for the introduction of a new Heyman client.
The fact that Heyman was willing to pay someone to take out Rollins could already be portrayed as a sign that Heyman is worried about his client’s chances against the so-called ‘Beastslayer.’ What if he felt it was necessary to go even a step farther and find the next version of ‘The Next Big Thing’ to represent in order to bump the odds for ‘The Beast’ at WrestleMania?
Whoever Heyman were to choose would then have his own status in WWE raised tenfold, while also giving that individual a crucial role at WrestleMania. Arguably, that would make it the best way to incorporate someone like Drew McIntyre into this rivalry.
Without a doubt, adding a new ‘Paul Heyman Guy’ would provide this rivalry with the jolt it needs to carry it into WrestleMania as a true main event worthy match.
All in all, WWE should consider one of these options for finishing up the build to Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania because right now, this rivalry needs some excitement injected into if the company wants it to be a marquee match-up to watch on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
