WWE: Ranking Becky’s 10 Greatest Moments Ahead Of WrestleMania 35
7. Arrives at Elimination Chamber, attacks Ronda Rousey, Charlotte
As we’ve learned, suspending Becky Lynch isn’t a smart move. The Man shows up whenever she pleases. Take the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view as an example. Six nights earlier, Vince McMahon handed Lynch a 60-day suspension that would keep her out of the WrestleMania main event.
Lynch’s replacement? Charlotte Flair. Who else?
Following Ronda Rousey’s successful championship defense against Ruby Riott, Charlotte entered the ring for a staredown with the Raw champ. But here came Becky Lynch, who hopped to the ring from the crowd on crutches.
Flair mocked Lynch’s injury but was quickly shut up as The Man attacked her with a crutch. The two-time SmackDown title holder then turned her attention to the red brand’s champion, striking down The Baddest Woman on the Planet to leave both WrestleMania opponents on the canvas.
Suspended or not, Becky Lynch continued to make an impact, eventually forcing Stephanie McMahon to make the right direction and reinstate her.
The Man has fought for years, overcoming obstacle after obstacle just to reach this point. Telling her she’s suspended isn’t going to stop her, far from it.
Narrowing the pre-match video package at WrestleMania to just a couple of minutes won’t be easy, but Lynch’s attack at Elimination Chamber was a signature moment in this story.
