WWE: Ranking Becky’s 10 Greatest Moments Ahead Of WrestleMania 35
3. Victory in Last Woman Standing Match at WWE Evolution
The first-ever Women’s Steel Cage Match. Tables Match. Hell in a Cell. Money in the Bank. You name it. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have taken part in numerous first-evers, helping lead the way in the Women’s Evolution, so it was only the fitting that two of the Four Horsewomen battled in the first-ever Last Woman Standing Match at the WWE’s inaugural all-women’s pay-per-view.
And to say the match surpassed expectations would be an understatement.
This match had it all — high drama in a battle of two former friends who both felt they deserved to be on top of the SmackDown Women’s division. A rivalry so personal it needed to be settled in such a grueling match.
Becky and Charlotte produced an enthralling 28-minute show-stealer that ticked every box. The backstory was there, and the two ensured this contest lived up to its high expectations.
Every classic needs a memorable finish. And this one did. First, Becky hit a leg drop from the top of a ladder through the announcers’ table, and then buried Charlotte underneath chairs, tables and anything she could get her hands on. But Flair survived the 10-count, barely, to fight on.
But Charlotte’s comeback would be short-lived. The Man countered to put The Queen through another table, this time sealing the victory and retaining the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
This match may not have gone on last, but it was the true main event of WWE Evolution.
