Sasha Banks vs. Natalya

Next up on WWE Raw, we saw women’s division action with the tag team titles in mind as Sasha Banks took on Natalya in singles action. Bayley was at ringside for her fellow WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and Natalya had fellow Diva of Doom and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix in her corner.

What we saw from Sasha Banks and Natalya was really great, and a good reminder of how great the chemistry is between those two. Things were back and forth, but after we got back from a commercial break things broke down pretty quickly.

Tamina and Nia Jax came to attack at ringside, sliding into the ring and ending the match by attacking both Natalya and Sasha Banks. After a short brawl, we actually saw Jax and Tamina in the ring with Beth Phoenix. Any questions about Beth’s readiness to compete were quickly dispelled.

Beth handily lifted Nia Jax into the air, but Jax was knocked loose by Tamina. Phoenix was able to fight through, even getting Tamina up into the air for a huge Glam Slam. In the end it was The Divas of Doom standing tall, and looking forward hopefully to a title shot at WrestleMania 35.

Grade: A-, Slight knock for the match not getting more time, but it’s only a minor gripe. This was great overall and builds hype to what I hope will be a Fatal 4-Way for the Women’s Tag Titles at WrestleMania.
