3. Seth Rollins Segment

It has been almost three years since Seth Rollins has held a world championship in the WWE despite being arguably the most consistent superstar in the WWE in that time.  That can all come to an end at WrestleMania when The Architect looks to become The Beast Slayer.

Rollins will take on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 with the Universal Championship on the line in what could be the biggest match of Rollins’ career up to this point.  He has a chance to dethrone The Beast Incarnate and help bring prestige back to the Universal Championship, and he said as much last night when he addressed his upcoming championship match.

The Architect said this is the biggest match of his career and he will not allow Lesnar to keep the title that will define the future of this industry.  He also said no matter where he goes, every fan tells him they hope he beats Lesnar at WrestleMania, so he will have the WWE universe in his corner.  Then enter Paul Heyman, who had an earful to give to Rollins in his own right on behalf of his client.

Heyman mocked Rollins and said he will need the WWE universe’s thoughts and prayers if he hopes to defeat Lesnar at WrestleMania.  He also said he wants Rollins to take it personally when he loses at WrestleMania, which led to Rollins chasing down Heyman on the ramp.  Heyman begged Rollins not to attack him and instead, all Rollins did was say he wasn’t asking for thoughts and prayers, but rather he was answering them.

This was a great promo that helped out this otherwise limited buildup considering the Universal Champion is never on Raw.
