2. The Miz Segment

Arguably the most personal storyline heading into WrestleMania 35 involves the issues between former tag team partners turned bitter enemies.  Shane McMahon and The Miz were SmackDown Tag Team Champions not long ago and were clicking on all cylinders until they weren’t.

They failed to recapture the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at Fastlane against The Usos, but the post-match heel turn by Shane O’Mac shocked everyone when he attacked The Miz in front of his father and hometown fans in Cleveland.  Not only did Shane do this, but he also put his hands on Miz’s father.  These two will settle their differences at WrestleMania 35, but The Miz wanted to take it a step farther last night.

He said he can’t wait to beat Shane down at WrestleMania for turning his back on him, but most importantly, for putting his hands on The Miz’s father.  The A-Lister proposed the match stipulation of Falls Count Anywhere so that he can beat up Shane all over Metlife Stadium.  Shane O’Mac would respond to him by bringing out a team of security and wrestlers in the back to shield him from The Miz.

Shane took more shots at The Miz and his father before agreeing to the Falls Count Anywhere match.  He said he is looking forward to embarrassing The Miz on the grandest stage of them all and that his only regret is he didn’t truly punish his father for spawning the greatest “Miz-take” of his life.  This incensed The Miz, who brawled with the wrestlers around the ring and the security to show a side of The Miz that hasn’t been seen in a very long time.

This was a tremendous segment and great setup to what should be a wild Falls Count Anywhere match on the grandest stage of them all.
