4. The Miz

The emergence of The Miz and Shane McMahon as a tag team was an unexpected treasure once the calendar turned to 2019.  These two had great chemistry together and it resulted in a surprisingly-great run that even included a SmackDown Tag Team Championship reign.

However, the writing was on the wall from the start with this angle and it felt inevitable these two would have a nasty breakup at some point.  And at Fastlane, that’s exactly what happened when Shane O’Mac shockingly turned on The Miz after their loss to The Usos in Miz’s hometown of Cleveland with his father sitting ringside.  Shane attacked Miz and even put his hands on his father, who was the main reason The A-Lister wanted to team with Shane in the first place.

The bad blood between the two has carried over in the weeks following Fastlane and it will come to a head at WrestleMania 35 when The Miz takes on Shane O’Mac in one of the most personal battles at this year’s WrestleMania.  In addition, it was announced this past Tuesday night that the match will now be a Falls Count Anywhere match, so anticipating what Shane will do under these circumstances will lead to endless possibilities for the WWE universe.

The Miz has been a great babyface throughout this run and it feels like he needs a big win in this match.  He has been on the best run of his career over the past three years or so and a win in a high-profiled match at WrestleMania would be huge for Miz’s career.  It makes sense storyline wise and could help him eventually creep back into the WWE Championship picture on Tuesday nights.

Revenge seems to be in order for Shane O’Mac on the grandest stage of them all courtesy of the WWE’s A-Lister.
