5 Superstars That Need A Win The Most At WWE WrestleMania 35
1. Becky Lynch
History was made at WrestleMania 32 involving the women’s evolution with the retirement of the Diva’s Championship and the debut of the Women’s Championship. Now three years later, even bigger history will be made regarding the women’s evolution.
The angle between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair have been going strong for months now, but it will reach its apex at WrestleMania 35 when these three compete in a Triple Threat Match for the Raw Women’s Championship. And for the first time in history, women will main event WrestleMania when these three close out the biggest show of the year. It’s been a wild ride for everyone involved in this angle, but it’s almost time to see how it all plays out.
Lynch has been the hottest superstar in the WWE for the past eight months or so and has had to go through hoops to get to this point, including having to earn her way back into the match even with winning the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble match. Rousey has been a dominant champion and even turned heel recently. And then there’s Charlotte, who has recently captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship and has been described as undeserving to be in this match.
However, given the course all three of these women are on, it’s obvious who needs to walk away with the Raw Women’s Championship. The Man has to win this match for a number of reasons, but mainly because of how immensely popular she has become. She is the perfect person to take the reigns of Raw Women’s Champion post-WrestleMania and it’s her time to shine at the top of the women’s division. All three are excellent and deserving, but this is Lynch’s time.
On a night in which the women’s evolution will reach the pinnacle of the entire industry, The Man has more than earned her right to close out the show with the Raw Women’s Championship around her waist.
