WWE WrestleMania 35 Final Match Predictions
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (c) for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships
Two weeks ago, Charlotte Flair shocked us all by facing Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship and beating The Empress of Tomorrow for a second time. Though Asuka submitted Becky Lynch to kick off the Royal Rumble Pay Per View, with Becky later winning the Rumble match to punch her ticket to the main event of WWE WrestleMania 35, she could not top “The Queen” and avenge the breaking of her undefeated streak last year.
WWE fans have forcefully booed Charlotte every step of the way, as WWE has embraced some fans’ belief that Charlotte is privileged and handed everything. A record-breaking eight-time Women’s Champion, Charlotte has a chance to become a double-champ at ‘Mania if she wins this iconic (but not quite iiconic) Triple Threat match.
That said, it is Becky Lynch who is destined to win both titles. She has reached the pinnacle of success in WWE as the company’s top merch seller and biggest star, even receiving plenty of praise from John Cena over the winter. If Becky doesn’t win the titles in the main event of WrestleMania, there could very well be a full-fledged riot in New York City, which is something fans have definitely brought up on social media.
WWE loves controversy, though, so don’t be surprised if Ronda were to remain undefeated as a singles competitor – recall that she once lost a tag match to Sasha Banks and Bayley.
I just don’t see it happening, and I like being optimistic. Becky wins in an instant classic that pushes the envelope for women in wrestling even further.
Prediction: Becky Lynch
