Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

For the most part, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal has strongly favored larger competitors like Baron Corbin and the Big Show, with the freakishly strong Cesaro and former NFL player Mojo Rawley also slotting in as past winners. So it would be refreshing for, say, Andrade or Ali to win a Battle Royal meant for – and named after – a big man.

That said, I think Braun Strowman wins this year’s ARMBAR after winning the Raw Tag Team Championships with a child at WrestleMania 34. It seems like Braun is good for a win at every ‘Mania, and since he probably could have been ticketed for something more given his star status, a his first ‘Mania Battle Royal win is probably forthcoming.

Plus, Strowman has been heavily involved in the build to WrestleMania as the main foil for Michael Che and Colin Jost. Both men, who are supposed to be WrestleMania correspondents that help host Alexa Bliss, will be competing in the ARMBAR after receiving a challenge from Strowman. Jost has been a particular annoyance to Strowman, so expect him to get absolutely destroyed on Sunday.

Strowman’s win is far from a guarantee, but, when in doubt, predicting a win for the “Monster Among Men” in a match without any truly high stakes is usually safe.

Prediction: Braun Strowman
