Triple H vs. Batista, No Holds Barred

There’s nobody in WWE cooler than Batista. I mean, this dude is the only human being in history who can pull off wearing sunglasses indoors. And, clearly, no matter how much Triple H says otherwise, he is absolutely obsessed with beating Batista, to the point where he has put his career on the line against “The Animal”.

Of course, there’s no way Triple H loses his match. He isn’t retiring, and we honestly didn’t even need that exaggerated, additional stipulation to the match to predict that Triple H will go over. At the same time, Triple H’s willingness to meet Batista’s outrageous demand – that he retires if he loses – heightens the intrigue to this match, in addition to underscoring just how desperate The King of Kings is.

See, Batista is the only star Triple H hasn’t beaten yet, and he needs to prove to the WWE Universe that he’s the better man. Even though Batista is no longer in his prime and has become a legitimately great actor, which the WWE Universe has fully enjoyed during this feud, it still pains “The Game” that he’s never beaten Batista.

He’ll get his opportunity to exorcise this demon on the Grandest Stage of Them All at MetLife Stadium, and the No Holds Barred stip will make this match must-see. Triple H needs to grab a win so he can keep putting over young stars like Seth Rollins, who slayed the King at WrestleMania 33 in an underrated match, and Batista will get once last opportunity to show wrestling fans just how damn good he is.

Prediction: Triple H
