WWE WrestleMania 35 Rebook: No Brock Lesnar, But A Shield Triple Threat
By Tom Colohue
WWE WrestleMania 35 is one of the most stacked cards you will ever see in the entire wrestling world – both in terms of the length of the event and the incredible array of talent on disposal.
This is a great thing for the quality of the matches, but not a good thing at all for the energy and commitment levels of the fans.
Some matches at WWE WrestleMania 35, like Orton vs Styles for example, have had a subtle, lax build that has peaked at just the right time by giving two experienced and talented performers a microphone each and just letting them enjoy themselves. Some, case in point Rousey vs Flair vs Lynch, have been overbooked to the point of exhaustion but may have pulled it back right at the last.
With WrestleMania right ahead the corner, I’m about to rebook the whole thing from top to bottom. Eleven matches grace my card; skipping out six from the expected actual card. Some people move – Batista having a big move on the card. Some people are missing altogether. Bobby Lashley does not make my card. Baron Corbin does not make my card. The third and undoubtedly biggest B who doesn’t make it? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see.
I’m Tom Colohue, and this is my WWE WrestleMania 35 Rebook.
Now a smattering of notes before we get started. With a two hour long kick off show there has to be matches and I see no reason to rebook those. The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal still takes place, as does the Women’s Battle Royal and the current Cruiserweight title match. I will purely be booking the main show. Occasionally I need to sleep. If I rebooked the whole thing I would probably still be here come Survivor Series.
So without any further ado, let’s rebook us a WrestleMania.
