This WWE WrestleMania 35 match will pit “The Demon” Finn Balor against Bobby Lashley, with X-Factor Lio Rush accompanying him, in an Intercontinental Championship match to conclude a feud that has been going on for months.

The “Demon” Finn Balor finally made his ‘Mania debut at WWE WrestleMania 35, and wrestling fans couldn’t be more excited to see the undefeated, former Universal Champion make his entrance. Bobby Lashley had some sick contact lenses out, but even those couldn’t prepare him for the quick kicks Balor sent at him.

Remember, Balor, when he was just a man, defeated Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship at the Elimination Chamber Pay Per View and only lost the title due to Lio Rush’s interference.

However, Lashley started to figure Balor out after a few minutes, suplexing Balor like crazy all over the ring before driving him into the barricade. Balor, however, had the power of “The Demon” behind him, and he briefly evened the odds before Lashley pulled a Big E by spearing him out of the ring.

Lashley speared Balor again, nearly putting the match to a close before Balor kicked out at two. That’s the power of “The Demon”, kicking out of back-to-back spears including one especially brutal one to the outside.

And shortly after that, Balor found himself in position for the Coup de Grace and defeated Lashley relatively quickly, becoming a two-time Intercontinental Champion. “The Demon” withstood a seriously devastating spear from Lashley and ended up dominating “The Dominator” himself.

The question is, who is next for Finn Balor? Because at WWE WrestleMania 35, he was given a monstrous showcase match, and he appears to have all sorts of momentum heading into the Raw after WrestleMania. With he and Seth Rollins as the top two singles champions, Monday nights male main event scene looks to be in great shape.

There have been so many times where fans weren’t sure about how much WWE is behind Balor, but a match like this is a great reminder that they do see plenty of value in him. Sure, the discrepancy in booking between Finn and “The Demon” seems too great, but when Finn grabs these wins, they feel special, just like his squash of Baron Corbin at SummerSlam.
