Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The final match on the Kickoff Show was the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. If the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal was a little messy, this was as messy as it gets. The ring looked like a complete mass of humanity. Michael Che and Colin Jost were near the back of that mass of humanity, and the second the bell rang they slid out under the bottom ropes and hid under the ring as the action got rolling.
Things were chaos from the start, with Lince Dorado, Curtis Axel, Tyler Breee, EC3, Bo Dallas, and No Way Jose eliminated in the blink of an eye. The eliminations continued, and things started to thin out with a few select stars getting some big moments. Heavy Machinery really impressed with a double suplex on Braun Strowman, and Otis even nailed a double caterpillar elbow on The Ascension.
Braun Strowman came back into the fray with a fury and began sending people out left and right, including Luke Harper and Mustafa Ali. Things finally wound down to just The Hardyz, Braun Strowman, and the still hiding Michael Che and Colin Jost. The Hardyz tried to work together and suplex Strowman over the ropes together, at which point Jost and Che slid back into the ring and tried to help them eliminate Strowman.
It was a great plan until it failed. Strowman powered out, send The Hardy Boyz crashing to the outside, and was alone with Jost and Che. Colin Jost quickly called for a microphone, introducing his therapist to try and diffuse the tension. Strowman diffused it by destroying the therapist and throwing him into Jost. Michael Che tried to escape by jumping over the top rope, but was caught on the apron by Strowman and got a stiff punch before he crashed to the ground.
This left only Colin Jost, who Strowman rushed in the corner, but Jost ducked and almost let Strowman eliminate himself with his momentum. Strowman stayed in, then grabbed Jost and sending him out of the ring with a huge throw. Jost landed in a pile of other competitors, effectively eliminating him and giving the win for this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to Braun Strowman.

Grade: A, This was as good as could be expected, really. It was always going to be a giant mess, but some stars got some good moments, and the celebrity involvement was fun without being detrimental to the match. Great job all involved.
