WWE Championship Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Randy Orton

One of the most amazing moments at WrestleMania 35 was the crowning of Kofi Kingston as the new WWE Champion. After fighting through every possible obstacle, Kingston overcame everything to topple Daniel Bryan on the biggest stage of them all. Now, he’ll have to change gears and defend the title he worked 11 years to attain. Since I’ve predicted Daniel Bryan to be in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, that leaves Kingston in need of an opponent.

If Bryan isn’t the challenger, there may be no more perfect name to be Kingston’s first challenger than Randy Orton. These two men have literally years of history, and their on-and-off rivalry has been as bitter as one could imagine. Orton would be a huge challenge for the new champion, and an interesting culmination of a rivalry that began so long ago. On top of that, Mr. McMahon did everything he could to keep Kofi Kingston out of WrestleMania 35. He could continue that by trying to use Randy Orton to get the title off of Kingston as quickly as possible.

Universal Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Roman Reigns

This is the only option, as far as I’m concerned. Seth Rollins shocked the world at WrestleMania 35 where he became The Beast Slayer and demolished Brock Lesnar to become the new Universal Champion. Despite everything Lesnar did to him, Rollins fought through and stomped Lesnar out of the title and hopefully out of WWE entirely. Now he needs a challenger, and the answer is quite clear.

Roman Reigns was forced to relinquish the Universal Championship after he revealed his diagnoses of leukemia in the fall of 2018. After spending time out of action, Reigns managed to send the disease back into remission and recently returned. That return really hit a culmination when Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35, and now he deserves a shot at the title he never lost. Seth Rollins is a fighting champion, and will surely be willing to give Roman the opportunity he is due.
