WWE: 3 sleeper opponents for Finn Balor after Superstar Shakeup

Mustafa Ali seems like the perfect future Intercontinental Champion, and the sky truly is the limit for Ali in WWE. Although he’s yet to win a title in the company – not even the Cruiserweight Championship despite arguably being 205 Live’s most talented performer – Ali shouldn’t have to wait too long to hold gold in WWE.

Of course, he won’t be taking the title off of Finn Balor so soon, and he seems to be ready for a feud with Randy Orton following The Viper’s RKO. But if Balor and Ali end up on the same brand, don’t be surprised to see Ali in an awesome “get over” match with The Extraordinary Man.

Ali’s athleticism and tenacity would give Balor something to think about, and both men could push each other to their limit’s in a television classic. These two superstars are among the most beloved in WWE, but it would be awesome to see the crowd slowly get more and more behind Ali during the match; Ali would be the one in more of a babyface role here.

Another interesting wrinkle here is that both men’s finishers are top-rope moves, and that added story-telling element could make this potential dream match between these two even more suspenseful. Oh, and the dives and selling would be off-the-charts!
