Nikki Cross

There’s no doubt that it would be a surprise to see Nikki Cross win the Money in the Bank briefcase so early into her main roster run, but after hardly doing much in the months since her call-up from NXT, she might need something big. Cross should resume being the true leader of Sanity, but she must also do her own thing, pursuing either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Championship once she’s assigned a brand at the Superstar Shakeup.

WWE fans have always been behind Cross, who was one of NXT’s best characters. She received huge reactions on the main roster, both in her first match on Raw and upon her appearance at the Royal Rumble.

The promos Cross could cut with the briefcase in her hands would be haunting and unique. She’d make the briefcase must-see, and the rest of the WWE roster would be put on notice with her roaming backstage with a title opportunity in her hands.

While it’s been somewhat disappointing to see Cross without a direction since her call up, the positive is that she’s been protected. Her only big loss came to the newly-crowned Becky Two Belts, who was the SmackDown Women’s Champion at the time of their encounter, so it’s not like she’s any less credible as a challenger to a championship.
