Raw to SmackDown – Finn Balor

You may have seen this coming, with the United States champion moving to Raw, but I think the right move would be to move the Intercontinental champion, Finn Balor, over to SmackDown. The reasons, like so many before, are endless.

Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens was an earlier plan that never happened. Now we have the chance to do that all over again, and that’s genuinely one of the least interesting options given what could be coming. Balor vs Mysterio or Andrade is fun to say, let alone to watch. Ever seen Finn Balor in a seven second dance off? Give me a two hour SmackDown Live with that as the main event and I’m happy.

Balor in general would be a prized asset, allowing the options for a number of feuds as well as good old fashioned open challenges. I certainly wouldn’t have Balor losing the Intercontinental title any time soon. Andrade would be my first pick to take it but maybe that’s just me. It’s a real shame that The Miz is face now given the quality of their feud early last year.

That’s not the real prize though. We know Balor vs Styles is good. I want it again. Balor vs Kingston will be just as good. We could see Balor and The Club vs The New Day, Balor and The Club vs The Undisputed Era, or maybe Styles, Balor and The Club vs The Undisputed Era.

There really isn’t anything bad that can come from a blue Finn Balor. Except maybe a blue Demon King. I don’t want that. I don’t want none.
