Raw to SmackDown – Sasha Banks

Yes, after all that talk about the Sky Pirates vs Banks and Bayley, I’m going to be splitting up the Boss and Hug Connection.

Bayley taking the loss at WrestleMania, as well as losing to Alexa Bliss on Raw suggests that she may be moving to SmackDown instead. That’s not a bad choice either but for me Sasha Banks is the one who would benefit most from a move.

Banks could rule the SmackDown women’s division. With Lynch and Flair both up in the air, a weaker women’s division on SmackDown needs some star power at the top of the tree. Banks is in a position where a heel turn and feuds with Carmella, Naomi, Lynch and Asuka are very intriguing prospects. Sasha Banks would be an ideal SmackDown women’s champion going forwards en route to one big Asuka feud at next year’s WrestleMania.

Unfortunately, this does affect the tag division as well as affecting any possible four horsewomen vs four horsewomen feud. What it does mean is that Banks can get away from a pack that she’s been stuck in, particularly stuck low down in, and potentially resulting in a long title reign as a heel on top of the tree.

Besides, surely Sasha Banks vs Asuka is one of the most exciting matches they can offer. Also, if Ronda Rousey does go to SmackDown upon her return, give me Rousey vs Banks vs Asuka. Just give it to me. It sounds amazing. I want it! Give me what I want!
