AEW Fight for the Fallen Announced for July in Jacksonville
All Elite Wrestling may technically have only one event to their name, but things already look exciting as AEW “Fight for the Fallen” has been confirmed for July 13 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Despite the fact that their only show didn’t even bear the “All Elite Wrestling” name, the success of All In and consistently positive news about the birth of AEW continues to bring fans to this burgeoning brand. As the build continues to Double or Nothing next month at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada, eyes turn to a separate event that holds a very different meaning for AEW.
Fight for the Fallen was confirmed today to be taking place at Daily’s Place Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida on July 13th. The venue is actually an extension of TIAA Bank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, which AEW President Tony Khan is also a co-owner of. It’s a fitting location for the continued growth of AEW, and will be an event with a very powerful message and purpose.
As confirmed by Daily’s Place and AEW, all proceeds from the gate for Fight for the Fallen will benefit Jacksonville’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council. VAAC is a group in that area which helps coordinate social services and mental health assistance of various kinds for crime victims and their families. Both AEW President Tony Khan and Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry have spoken about the importance of this event.
"“Last year Jacksonville endured a horrible mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing, and the VAAC was a tremendous support for the community,” said Tony Khan, AEW President. “When we decided to host Fight for the Fallen, there was no question that AEW would stage the event here in Jacksonville and would give back to the organization that helped so many people during that incredibly tragic time.”“We are extremely grateful to All Elite Wrestling and the “Fight for the Fallen” event for this generous donation,” said Lenny Curry, Jacksonville Mayor. “Making sure victims of violent crimes and their families have the support they need at one of the toughest times in their lives is a top priority for me. This donation is crucial in helping continue our efforts and providing victim assistance services when it is truly needed the most.”"

Right from the beginning, there have been great signs about the goals of AEW to truly make their mark and “Change the World” as The Elite like to say. They’ve made huge strides so far with commitment to gender equality and acceptance within AEW, and even the provision of health insurance for All Elite Wrestling talents. Fight for the Fallen holds a different place, but stands just as tall in representing AEW’s commitment to using their platform and existence for good.
On top of all of the great meaning behind this event, there’s also hope that it will definitely be a fantastic wrestling show. Double or Nothing is shaping up to be something truly special, and rumors continue to circulate that a cable television home for AEW will be announced any day now.
Fight for the Fallen will be a point at which AEW has begun to secure their footing as a promotion, and will hopefully be a great show that benefits and even greater cause. The pre-sale for this event starts on Thursday, which can be accessed with a pre-sale code shown in today’s episode of Being The Elite. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday.
