6. Lio Rush

Lio Rush has been serving as a manager for Bobby Lashley for so long that it would be easy to forget how phenomenal of a talent he really is. He rarely wrestles nowadays in favor of being in Lashley’s corner, but he is easily the quickest, most agile athlete under the WWE banner. His work on 205 Live can attest to that statement and even his segments on Raw where he is running and leaping everywhere whenever he is getting chased down.

To be perfectly honest, as he showed in his exhilarating and sympathetic performances on the independent scene, the 24 Year Old Piece of Gold has all the tools to be a top babyface in WWE if they gave him the ball to run with it; although his heel work has been tremendous. Alternatively, Murphy has proven to be an exceptional, cocky young heel as the Cruiserweight division’s biggest star. This could make for a nice dynamic if the two ever go toe to toe.

Buddy Murphy and Lio Rush have never faced off on television, but they have competed in a handful of one-on-one matches at NXT live events. Crowds have come out of these house shows delivering rave reviews of their chemistry. We would love to see them bring that chemistry to the screen for once.
