4. Johnny Gargano

A strong argument can be made for Johnny Gargano being the very best storyteller working for WWE right now. His TakeOver matches with Ricochet, Aleister Black, Adam Cole and, of course, his trilogy with Tommaso Ciampa are prime examples of how Gargano can have a spectacular match with anybody when the match is driven by a story. We would love to see the new face of the NXT brand tell a compelling story in the ring with Buddy Murphy sometime in the near future.

Murphy is already making a trip down under to NXT later this week to wrestle for the North American Championship. However, Johnny Gargano recently became Johnny Champion when he finally captured the NXT Title last week at TakeOver: New York. Whether The Juggernaut dropping by signals a change in brands or it really is part of a tour, we hope this is not the last time we see Buddy in NXT.

More than anything else, we just want to see what the former face of 205 Live can do when squared up against the new face of NXT. It does not even need to be a title match – although it would be a nice touch – as the meeting between these minds would be powerful regardless.
