WWE Raw Results, Highlights, and Grades for Superstar Shakeup 2019
Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles vs. Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin
The Shield’s tag team partner tonight? AJ Styles. When Styles’s music hit, Baron Corbin put his hands on his head and Lio Rush covered his mouth. They don’t want none.
This will be awesome in the ring, but it feels so wrong seeing Styles team up with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw. Yes, I do miss Dean Ambrose so much.
Also, we’re totally going to get a Rollins/Styles face-off that teases and eventual slow burn to a big-time Universal Title dream match between these two, right?
Rollins and Reigns get to work on Bobby Lashley to start the match, tearing up his legs. Reigns threw him around the ring before tagging in Styles, who had to use his speed to get away.
Reigns start smashing the heck out of Drew McIntyre with his powerful arms, dominating him just like he did at WrestleMania 35. However, McIntyre got back into it with a nasty throw and Glasgow Kiss for a nearfall.
Baron Corbin hit a chokeslam backbreaker for a nearfall, getting the heel tag team all kinds of fired up before the next commercial break.
Rollins set up for the stomp, but Corbin wisely rolled outside the ring and later blocked a suicide dive attempt from Rollins.
Styles tagged in and started cleaning house, hitting Pele Kicks on Lashley and Corbin before teasing the Styles Clash on Lashley. However, McIntyre hit a Claymore on Styles from out of nowhere, and McIntyre threw Reigns again after blocking a critical Superman Punch attempt.
Lashley went for a pin, but Rollins broke it up with The Stomp, Reigns speared him, and Styles hit a Phenomenal Forearm.
Grade: C-, The match wasn’t bad and the final sequence featured some big moves, but, this was a flat way to end a huge Superstar Shakeup episode.
