Sami Zayn is awesome

A Moment of Bliss with Sami Zayn in Montreal now that Zayn is a heel who hates the overly critical WWE Universe? Now that’s bound to get some awesome reactions from the crowd!

Zayn enters the ring to a huge pop, and the crowd, as expected, sings along to his theme as he dances around wildly for their entertainment. And you just KNOW the other shoe is about to drop, because Zayn probably has issues here, too, right?

(Renee Young telling Corey Graves to “Shut Up” felt almost as good as the “Sami!” chants.)

Zayn’s music hit for a SECOND time as he took a bow for the Montreal crowd, who started cheerfully singing his song as Zayn beckoned for them to sing louder. But he took a final bow and moved to his seat for the interview with Bliss.

And his music hit for a THIRD time. Montreal still wasn’t done going crazy, and neither was Zayn! They sang, he danced, and Alexa smiled as it all happened. Even when the music stopped, they just kept on singing.

Zayn then starts making fun of the fans again calling them “fish in a barrel”, before baiting them into more chants with an “Olé! Olé! Olé! Olé!”

He says he loves the city, but he cannot stand the people in the city. Zayn remarks at the world-class art, cuisine, and architecture, and remarks that the low point of his week in Montreal was being around the WWE Universe.

Even Bliss is upset now, because Zayn rudely stated that he didn’t even want to be on her show. Zayn explains that he’s feeling “sick” from being around the crowd.  Zayn says that the fans project their failures and insecurities on HIM, calling it disgusting and shameful behavior from the audience.

But Bliss takes him to task, telling him that he’s not “perfect” and that the people of Montreal aren’t the problem. Zayn says he doesn’t claim the people of Montreal as “HIS”, remarking that he moved to Orlando.

Another “See you in hell”, another mic drop, another awesome promo.

Grade: A+, You have to see this. Sami Zayn is a freaking genius and one of WWE’s best talkers. This was a masterclass in heel work, and the crowd played their part wonderfully from start to finish.
