Losers

5. Cedric Alexander

One of the most athletically-gifted superstars the WWE has to offer is Cedric Alexander, a superstar that has been a staple of 205 Live.  It felt like it was time for him to make it to the main roster on either Raw or SmackDown, but his move to Monday nights could wind up doing more harm than good.

Alexander could fall into obscurity on the red brand given the recent trend of some NXT/205 Live superstars getting called up.  The blue brand would have probably been the better place for him to end up, especially given how quickly former 205 Live standout Mustafa Ali has developed into a valuable asset on SmackDown.  If the WWE isn’t careful, Alexander could end up being a non-factor on Raw.

4. Andrade

The blue brand has been fortunate to have the services of Andrade over the past few months, even if he hasn’t reached a serious level of success yet.  That makes his move over to the red brand a bit more surprising and premature given how he hasn’t had much time to shine on Tuesday nights.

It would have probably been better to have seen Andrade stay on SmackDown for a while longer and maybe win a United States Championship along with more outstanding matches and feuds before coming over to Raw.  He can still have success on the red brand, but too many times, talented performers have fallen through the cracks on Monday nights and the same could happen here.
