Dana Brooke

Dana Brooke has been a member of the WWE Raw roster since 2016 when the brands first split, and she was initially Charlotte Flair’s protege before breaking off on her own. Since then, Brooke hasn’t been used much, frustrating some fans and leading to the hashtag, #GiveDanaAChance.

The former statistician for Titus Worldwide seemed to get a glimpse of a chance before WrestleMania 35, competing in a televised title match with Ronda Rousey. It’s easy to forget, but Brooke was technically Rousey’s first match in WWE, as the two fought in a dark match after Raw well before Rousey’s WrestleMania 34 debut in mixed tag action.

Having improved by leaps and bounds in the ring, Brooke is ready to become a regular on Raw for the first time in her career. She’s been on the screen for years and fans know who she is, but her appearances have generally been sporadic.

That’s a shame, because Brooke is a legitimately great athlete who is a professional bodybuilder and is capable of some incredibly athletic acrobatics. Her Rumble/Battle Royal appearances are often electric, and her combination of strength and agility could make her a fan favorite. Though Brooke’s promos can be hit-or-miss, she has so much passion that they are often “hits” when WWE doesn’t hamstring her with something overly scripted.
