AJ Styles

The Phenomenal One seems like a near-lock to win the Universal Championship at some point between now and WrestleMania 36, as AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins is a definite dream match. Since Dean Ambrose is apparently on his way out of WWE after dealing with awful booking decisions and a horrifying injury, Styles teamed up with The Shield in a recent Raw main event.

It’ll only be a matter of time before Styles, who was “awoken” by Vince McMahon around the same time Triple H gave Rollins a huge pep talk, decides to go after the most important title on the Red Brand.

Beyond that, Styles could also have some matches in the upper mid-card, as he is a two-time United States Champion thanks to his feud with Kevin Owens.

However, Styles will want the top prize on Raw after being the WWE Champion for approximately one year, and the fans would absolutely love to watch him fight Rollins to his limit in order to win that championship.

Rating: 9/10, it’s basically a guarantee

Aleister Black

Dubbed “The Mercurial One” by Mauro Ranallo, Aleister Black put together two awesome matches at TakeOver Specials against Johnny Gargano and Andrade “Cien” Almas. Black held the NXT Championship with authority, and he’s already made an impression on the main roster with his entrance, demeanor, and athletic ability inside the ring.

Currently in a tag team with Ricochet, Black has a world of potential as a singles competitor and could easily pick up a mid-card title before WrestleMania 36. It’s almost impossible to envision him winning the Universal Title, but a quick “get-over” match against the electric Rollins could do wonders for Black.

New call-ups rarely have immediate success on the main roster in terms of titles, so that’s something working against Black. In his favor, though? His unique character, athletic ability, and one of the best entrances/themes in WWE.

Rating: 5/10, It’s basically a coin flip.
