4. Finn Balor

Let’s get to an option that is a little less psychological (I’ll get back to that for my last entry).  Kofi Kingston and Finn Balor could put on absolute wrestling clinics if given the opportunity.

SmackDown is a brand that has always carried with it a theme of performance taking precedence over aesthetics and show.  As mentioned before, wrestlers like Edge, Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio became permanent fixtures in the WWE main event scene due to the opportunity provided by the Paul Heyman-run SmackDown brand.  That same aura is present now, as Becky Lynch, The Miz, and Kingston can now be considered main event players thanks to the platform provided by the blue brand.

The best move of the entire “Superstar Shake-up” very well may be Finn Balor going over to SmackDown, as Raw seemed to be dominated by either members of The Shield or Brock Lesnar when he chose to be involved.  Those shackles are now off on SmackDown Live, and Finn Balor my receive new life in his new television home.  A program with Kingston for the WWE Championship may be just the thing to get that rolling.

Hopefully should his opportunity comes, he remembers that never loses when “The Demon” comes out (it would have helped against Lesnar at Royal Rumble, am I right?).
