IIconics (c) vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane [Women’s Tag Team Championships]🔵

Despite the backlash against IIconics for dethroning Banks and Bayley at WrestleMania 35, they have been a pretty entertaining duo as of late. However, they have some tough competition ahead of them, especially the new team of Asuka and Kairi Sane; they were introduced and now managed by Paige on SmackDown Live.

It is foreseeable that the Women’s Tag Team Championships would solely be on the line between IIconics and Asuka and Kairi Sane. If Rose and Deville were to be included for a triple threat due to their history with Paige, it would have made the feud more interesting to witness.

However, Mandy Rose has already been announced for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match, so their inclusion in this potential tag title match is highly unlikely. There’s no way IIconics can believably defeat Asuka and Kairi Sane on PPV two-on-two without cheating, especially since Asuka and Kairi Sane are a newly formed tag team that should look unstoppable on the main roster.

On the other hand, it’s also hard to believe that IIconics would lose their tag titles so quickly after winning them at WrestleMania 35. The IIconics need a long enough reign to buy time for more tag teams to form since the women’s tag team division is a tad thin. If they do defeat Asuka and Kairi Sane, it would be by nefarious means or by an inconclusive finish (i.e. DQ or countout), thereby leaving a reason for Asuka and Kairi Sane to get a rematch for the titles in the near future when Asuka and Kairi Sane can potentially dethrone them.
