Shane McMahon vs. The Miz [Steel Cage Match]🔴
While Mysterio plans on making his son proud, The Miz is still looking to make his dad proud. After Shane McMahon was luckily victorious in his WrestleMania 35 match with The Miz, The Miz got payback by attacking Shane once he got drafted to Raw in the Superstar ShakeUp. Just when Miz thought he was done with Shane, he shifted his focus to Bobby Lashley, whom he had as his guest on Miz TV. Per usual, their confrontation on Miz TV led to a match on Raw, in which Lashley won due to Shane’s distraction. Shane then proceeded to lock a deadly submission hold on The Miz, forcing him to pass out on Raw.
The feud is not over yet, and it would be hard to believe that The Miz would lose to Shane again, especially since Miz has not won a match on his own in a very long time. The Miz needs to prove that he no longer needs to win by nefarious means and can actually win a match with his fair and square. However, The Miz did announce a steel cage match, which means Shane could escape the cage without even pinning The Miz.
Nonetheless, 50:50 booking tends to take precedence in the WWE and The Miz needs as much babyface momentum as possible, especially after making his return to Raw. Most importantly, he needs to do it for his dad, who got man-handled by Shane in multiple occasions. After The Miz is finished with Shane, he can shift his focus back to Lashley after MITB. Speaking of dads getting man handled, Shane’s dad got attacked too….
Prediction: The Miz🔴
Elias vs. Roman Reigns [Grudge Match]🔵
Similar to how The Miz attacked Shane when he got drafted to Raw, Roman Reigns decked Vincent Kennedy McMahon with the Superman Punch when he got drafted to SmackDown Live. Hypocritically, Shane was mad that his father got attacked when he has been attacking Miz’s dad since March.
However, Reigns is facing Elias instead because this attack occurred during Elias’ draft to SmackDown as the ‘biggest’ acquisition in SmackDown Live history. Thus, Reigns stole Elias’ spotlight, and this encounter formed an alliance between the heels Elias and Shane due to one common enemy in Reigns.
Since Elias does not like his spotlight to be stolen, he proposed a match against Reigns at MITB. Elias could defeat Reigns with Shane’s help; but even then, Reigns will still kick out at two. Thus, there’s not much to analyze here because Reigns will inevitably win, like he always does.
Prediction: Roman Reigns🔵
