Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair [SmackDown Womenâs Championship]đľ
The Man vs. The Queen! Becky Lynch is scheduled to defend her SmackDown Womenâs Championship against Charlotte Flair. Indeed, this is getting very repetitive, and this match could go either way. However, the history between these two women could very well help with foreseeing who wins this match.
After Lynch won the SmackDown Womenâs Championship from Charlotte Flair at WWE Hell in a Cell 2018, she has not lost a big match to Charlotte Flair ever since:
(1) Lynch retained her title in a Last Womenâs Standing Match against Charlotte at the first ever all-womenâs PPV, Evolution.
(2) Lynch eliminated Charlotte last to win the second ever Womenâs Royal Rumble in 2019.
(3) Lynch defeated Charlotte at Fastlane 2019 to get added to the Womenâs Championship WrestleMania 35 Triple Threat Main Event Match against Charlotte and Ronda Rousey.
(4) Lynch defeated Charlotte and Rousey at WrestleMania 35 to become both Raw and SmackDown Womenâs Champion.
Albeit Lynch is the fan favorite, Charlotte barely won in her feud with Lynch. It seems that this rematch is a way to put Charlotte over while still keeping Lynch looking strong. Based on the promos, Lynch is facing Evans first, which means that she will be worn out by the time she faces Charlotte in the same night.
If Lynch retains her title against Evans as predicted earlier, this will give Charlotte a significant advantage in winning the SmackDown Womenâs Title and thereby running SmackDown Live. By losing the SmackDown Womenâs Championship, Lynch can still keep the Raw Womenâs Title and run Raw, which has a severely depleted womenâs division. This would be a good way to keep Lynch away from Charlotte and have two top notch superstars running each brand.
As much as WWE fans love Lynch, itâs hard to see her walking out of MITB with both titles in her grasp. However, itâs definitely foreseeable to see her walk out with one, and it should be the title that she obtained from Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35. Lynch for Raw Womenâs Champion and Charlotte for SmackDown Womenâs Champion. Game. Set. Match.
