4. Filthy Tom Lawlor

Jon Moxley’s re-entry into the independent circuit could open the door to some very different matches than we ever would have seen from him on a WWE stage. One match that would be wholly different from anything we have seen from Mox in the past – on a WWE stage or indie stage – would be a match against Filthy Tom Lawlor.

Filthy Tom Lawlor is an MMA specialist who spent some years in the UFC. With an impressive mixed martial arts record of 10-7-1, Lawlor had a decent stint in the octagon. That is until he was handed a two-year suspension in 2016 for failing UFC’s drug policy. In late 2018, two months before that suspension would have been lifted, Lawlor was released from UFC.

These days, he has made the full transition into the wrestling world and has had some jaw dropping matches along the way, especially in Major League Wrestling where he is the promotion’s MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

A match against Jon Moxley would make for a unique contest for both men, but also without a doubt, it would be a breathtaking one to view. If Moxley wants to get his feet wet with a match that we probably would have never seen in the WWE, a match against Filthy Tom would be the bomb.
